Fibreboard

fibreboardsOur standard fibreboards have the following parameters:

  • Thickness: 3.2 mm
  • Type: Hard (compressed, thermally hardened)

Fibreboards

Structure

Fibreboard is made of wood fibres which undergo a process of felting and then are formed under appropriate temperature and pressure, which guarantees their compactness and cohesion. Fibres are placed in different directions so that quality and resistance parameters are the same regardless of stress directions. Fibreboard additionally undergoes processes of compression and thermal hardening in order to increase its resistance to static bending.

Advantages

Fibreboards are valued for their high resistance and hardness, attractive price, material homogeneity, workability and easiness in connecting with other materials, environment-friendliness, large sizes of sheets, bending flexibility.

Used

Fibreboards is mainly used in:

  • Furniture industry (drawer bottoms, back walls)
  • Construction industry (thermally and acoustically insulating material)
  • Construction woodwork (partitions, doors)
  • Packaging
